Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday launched a sharp attack on the Congress and RJD during his rally in Bihar, accusing them of indulging in vote-bank politics by protecting infiltrators coming from abroad. He alleged that the two parties, along with their ecosystem, are not only advocating for such infiltrators but also taking out yatras and raising slogans in their support. Modi warned that by doing so, the opposition is putting Bihar’s resources, as well as the security of the state and the entire nation, at risk. Emphasising the Centre’s stance, the Prime Minister reiterated that his government is firmly committed to driving out infiltrators, particularly in states like Assam, Bihar, and West Bengal, where he alleged that Congress and RJD have been patronising them. Modi framed the opposition’s actions as a direct threat to national security and contrasted it with his government’s resolve to safeguard the country’s borders and citizens.
Speaking at a rally in Purnea of Bihar, the prime minister said that the state has always played major role in country's development, safety and security. "Congress and RJD have not only threatened the honour of Bihar but also the identity of Bihar," PM Modi said. "Today, a huge demographic crisis has arisen due to infiltrators in Seemanchal and Eastern India. People of Bihar, Bengal, Assam and many states are worried about the safety of their sisters and daughters. That is why I have announced the Demography Mission from the Red Fort."
